company's environmental policy. OHSAS 18001:2007

Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, S.A.B. de C.V., known as OMA (Nasdaq:OMAB) (BMV:OMA), received today ISO 14001:2004 environmental and OHSAS 18001:2007 safety certifications for its 13 airports under the multisite scheme. The certifications recognize OMA as a company that is committed to sound environmental practices and to the safety and security of its employees.
The ISO 14001:2004 certification provides each of the 13 airports in the group an environmental management system, including a methodology for self-evaluation and confirming compliance and adherence to the company's environmental policy. OHSAS 18001:2007 establishes a system for mitigating the risks to health and safety of company personnel and other persons involved with daily operations.
Porfirio Gonzalez, the CEO of OMA, said, "OMA is proud to obtain these certifications, which demonstrate the continuing commitment of the company to provide our clients facilities and services that meet international standards for quality, safety, and efficiency, without slighting the environment or the health and safety of our human capital."
The certifications were given by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance and endorsed by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service.
OMA was officially awarded the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications for the first time in a ceremony held today in Mexico City.
